Tell us about your journey to opening Hello Baby and Parfait Kids!
The idea for Hello Baby came to me as I was pregnant with my second baby—I was in search of a local store to purchase nursery furniture and other unique baby items. Here we are three years later still growing and expanding! We have grown to include baby gear such as car seats, strollers and gift registry as well as children's clothing and toys through age eight.
Describe the furniture and décor offerings available at the shop.
Hello Baby offers furniture in a variety of styles, including traditional and trendy modern styles, at approachable price points. In addition to the basics, we offer Greenguard Certified and organic products, including mattresses. Hello Baby displays many collections in the store for customers to be able to touch and see the quality and colors.
How about the unique gift and clothing offerings?
We continue to find new exciting items to bring into the store; our toy department has grown a lot over the past year, offering games, wooden toys, arts and crafts and toys for learning and development. The clothing you will find at Hello Baby is a mix of bright and fun, kid-friendly styles as well as the monochromatic earthy tones that many moms are looking for right now.
Is there one product that just continually flies off the shelf?
Personalized items such as hand-painted piggy banks and blankets with children's names on them.
What is something that customers might be surprised to find in the shop?
We offer communion and baptism outfits.

It's warm, welcoming and fun. We love being a part of the community and love supporting parents, whether it be their first child or their third! We pride ourselves on being educated in the baby and kid industry so we can help customers find what works best for them and their families.
Tell us about the addition of “Parfait Kids” to the Hello Baby brand.
Parfait Kids is part of Hello Baby and is geared towards our toddlers and big kids! With the new offering of older children's clothing, toys and gifts, we felt it would help our shoppers know that we are more than just a baby store!
What do you love about owning a shop in Allentown?
Allentown is my home base. I was born and raised here and eventually made it back to raise my own family. This is a beautiful, growing area with tons of young families and we are proud to be a part of it.
