I know, I know, it’s been awhile, but I haven’t been ignoring blogging out of laziness—I swear! Here at LVS we have been busy not only writing for the fall issues (it’s coming whether you want the warm temps to end or not!) and preparing for a jam-packed editorial calendar in 2013. Next year is going to be so exciting, though I don’t want to give too much away now.
If you’ve been following us on Twitter or reading our Facebook posts then you have an idea of what we’ve got planned. October is going to include a feature for all those people out there who wish they could cook a bit healthier. Whether you can’t cook, don’t like to cook or cook way too much, we’ve got you covered. And while November will be our annual Decadent Dish issue (sorry guys, I can’t tell you who won!) we will also be featuring a fantastic gift guide of goodies hand-crafted by talented local artists and sold on everybody’s favorite new website etsy.com. Thanks to all of the artists who reached out to us on FB!
Since November is so food-focused, it only made sense for me to find a Style Desires item that would work with this theme. So a trip to La Belle Cuisine was in order yesterday to pick up something amazing, French and copper. Who knew cookware could be so gorgeous? After I selected a stylish piece I know you will desire, I headed on over to our photographer, Lori Smith’s studio. I can’t remember the last time we saw each other and it was great to catch up. Next week she will be in Los Angeles putting the finishing touches on her line of lip stains years in the making. She gave me a gorgeous deep pink stain to try and I can’t wait to experiment with it this weekend. Perhaps I’ll be wearing it at tomorrow’s Lehigh Valley Food and Wine Festival!
