1. Blueberry Festival
They don't call it “the sweetest festival of the summer” for nothing. Get your blueberry fix with delicious pies, coffee cake, ice cream, beer and wine. The fun doesn't stop with food & drink; you'll get the opportunity to tour Burnside Plantation, listen to live music and view the works of local artisans.

2. Lehigh Valley SportsFest
With almost every sport you can imagine (we're talking fencing, knockerball and dodgeball), this 4 day event is the place to be for those looking for a little friendly competition. If spectating is more of your speed, there will be plenty of viewing areas, food vendors and a health & wellness expo.

3. Pop Up Beer Garden
No need to travel to the city to experience outdoor drinking at its finest this weekend. A pop up beer garden will be coming to the Sun Inn Courtyard this Saturday from 2-8 p.m. 10 craft beers will be available for purchase along with a cornhole tournament and live music.

4. Jacobsburg Trail Rides
Take a different approach to your normal ride on the trail and experience serene trails, wildlife and streams on horseback. For only $50, you'll get a guided one hour and 15 minute horseback trail ride with a small group of 2-4 people. Keep in mind that reservations are required.

5. Rodale Institute Organic Farmers' Market
In the efforts to improve access to healthy and organic food for Allentown residents, two organic farmers' market locations will be open on Saturdays through October at the 15th St. YMCA and the St. Luke's Evangelical Church on 7th St. You can find vendors such as: Hermosa Soap Co., Made by Lino and Saxman Breads. Rodale will also be on site to provide cooking demonstrations and easy recipes.
