Runway 5K at LVIA
This Saturday, join the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley for their second annual Winged Warriors 5K. The unique race takes place on the runway of the airport, with heavy jets landing on a runway adjacent to the course during the race! The event runs from 7–9 a.m., and is open to all ages and abilities. Registration is $25 in advance and $35 day of, with proceeds going towards supporting families whose children are battling pediatric cancer.
Cider & Wine Festival at Coca-Cola Park
Enjoy a four-hour tasting session from more than 30 local cideries and wineries at the Lehigh Valley Cider and Wine Festival! Aside from unlimited cider and wine tastings, the event will also include artisan spirits, food trucks, live music, games and the chance to purchase cider and wine by the bottle or case. The festival takes place on Saturday, with sessions running from noon to 4 p.m. and 6–10 p.m. VIP tickets are $45 (and include an extra hour of access); general admission is $35; and designated-driver tickets are available for $5.

Hocus Pocus at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley
This Friday, hop on your broomstick and head on over to the Promenade Shops for a free showing of the creepy classic Hocus Pocus! Before the movie begins, make sure to grab complimentary popcorn provided by AMC Center Valley, along with delicious chocolate-covered Peeps to snack on during the showing. Other pre-show activities include a costume contest, coloring contest, custom necklace creation with Dandelion, a live DJ and games! The family-friendly fun runs from 5:30–9 p.m., and guests should make sure to bring lawn chairs and blankets to be cozy during the movie!
