Phantoms Phrenzy
It's ice hockey season, which means we're cheering on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms! The “phun” begins before the puck drop with a Phantoms Phrenzy on the Allentown ArtsWalk. Two hours before every Friday and Saturday home game, join the party across 7th Street from the PPL Center and enjoy live music and yard games. Outdoor heaters at Blended by Brü Daddy's will keep you warm, and attendees can enjoy a free order of fries or dessert at Sports & Social with proof of game tickets. Mark your calendar for January 13, 14, 27 and 28 this month.
Lehigh Valley Ale Trail
The brewery passport program that kicked off in October continues this month. Enjoy a tasting tour of seven Valley breweries with this self-guided event—or book a group ride via Sip and Play Tours. Participating breweries include Hop Hill, HiJinx, Yergey, Invertase, Brü Daddy's, Two Rivers and Lost Tavern, where you can sample three craft beer pours at each one.
Passports are available for just $2, and every purchase of $7 in beer or merchandise at each brewery gets you one stamp. Collect three stamps at each brewery before February 28 to complete your passport and you'll get a collectable hoodie!
Indoor Rides
Easton Cycle debuted its pop-up workouts in outdoor venues across the Valley this past summer, and this winter, they're taking riders indoors! Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 8:30 a.m., rides will be hosted at the Charles Chrin Community Center in Palmer. Rides are $15 and can be booked online.
Winter Wedding Showcase
The Glasbern Inn is hosting its first-ever wedding showcase on Saturday, January 14, promising an intimate afternoon of wedding planning. The event features a champagne welcome, 25 premier Valley wedding professionals and a variety of hors d'oeuvres.
Easton Restaurant Week
Easton Restaurant Week comes twice a year—July and January. This January 15–21, explore 15–30 Downtown Easton restaurants offering diners special set menus. Keep an eye on social to find out who's participating this month.
Moonlit Strolls
Afros in Nature invites all members of the BIPOC community to get their bodies moving this winter with weekly moonlit strolls in Allentown. The walks will take place every Thursday from 6:15–7:15 p.m. through Allentown Cedar Beach and Cedar Creek Parkway. Walks will be rain or snow; no formal registration is required.
