Parade of Shamrocks
Downtown Bethlehem
The Celtic Cultural Alliance will host the 13th Annual Celtic Classic Parade of Shamrocks in Downtown Bethlehem on Saturday, March 16. The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. on Broad Street, continues east to Main Street and ends under the Hill-To-Hill Bridge. Be sure to wear your green!
St. Pat's 5K
West End Allentown
Dubbed the Valley's most fun and festive race, the West End St. Patrick's 5K returns on Sunday, March 17! Break out your green gear and your Irish spirit for the 14th annual running event. Enjoy a fast, flat, closed course filled with people cheering you on. The race starts at 12:15 p.m. The post-race lunch features cookies, age group awards and prizes for the best outfits.
ShamROCK the Walk
Downtown Allentown
Head to the Allentown ArtsWalk on Saturday, March 16 for St. Patrick's Day festivities including live music, and food and drink specials. Blended is celebrating with Guinness, Jameson and Irish Car Bomb specials along with Lucky Charm shooters and sour apple spritzes! They'll host The Weekenders from 3–6 p.m. and DJ Romeo G from 6–9 p.m. Meanwhile, Sports & Social is offering $5 green beer and $10 Car Bombs as well as happy hour specials from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.! Enjoy live music from At The Apollo band runs from 6–8 p.m.
Irish Comedy Show
The Emmaus Theatre
Experience an afternoon of non-stop laughter with a hilarious line-up of Irish-American comedians at The Emmaus Theatre's Irish Comedy Show on Sunday, March 17. Two-time Emmy Award winner Brian Kiley will headline the show. Tickets are available for $20–$30; the fun runs from 2–3:30 p.m.
Irish Cultural Community Day
Agri-Plex Charles Hall
An annual event, Irish Cultural Community Day will take place at Agri-Plex Charles Hall at the Allentown Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 16 from noon to 3 p.m. The free family-friendly event features demonstrations in Irish dance, hurling, Celtic games, art, bagpipe, fiddle and ceili.
St. Patrick's Day Parade
Allentown
Take part in the 65th Annual Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 17. Kicking off at 1 p.m. with massed bands at 19th and Liberty Streets, the parade will march through the West End of Allentown. Find more info about the route and registration here.
Double Feature
Shankweiler's Drive-In Theater
Catch a double feature of Leprechaun and Leprechaun 2 at Shankweiler's Drive-In Theater this weekend. They'll be showing the movies back to back on the giant drive-in screen starting Thursday, March 14 and continuing through Sunday, March 17. Gates open at 6 p.m. each night with the shows at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets are available for $12 here.
M80 at Wind Creek

M80 will take the Molten Lounge Stage at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. They'll continue until 2 a.m.! Dubbed a pre-St. Patrick's Day party, all guests are encouraged to wear green. The event is free to attend (no cover charge).

Normally, McCoole's is known for its made-to-order clam chowder, but in honor of St. Patrick's Day, they're serving up appetizers like Irish Nachos and Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, sandwiches like the Reuben, and entrées like Shepherd's Pie, Bangers & Mash, Traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage, Fish & Chips and more.
