Shankweiler’s 91st Anniversary Celebration
Head to one of the Lehigh Valley’s only drive in theaters for their 91st anniversary celebration running Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 13. This 90s themed weekend will feature A Minecraft Movie and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery with period-specific candies and snacks available at the concession stand and similar décor throughout. Moviegoers can also expect a variety of on-screen surprises for Millennials and Gen X alike. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for photo ops and activities along with themed drinks by Hi-Jinx Brewing. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office upon arrival.
Terrarium Building Workshop at Kraft & Co.
Check out Kraft & Co.’s newest retail store location at Easton’s Simon Silk Mill on Friday, April 11 for their terrarium building workshop at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will learn how to build their own terrariums and fill them with various plant life and tiny treasures. All supplies will be provided and attendees will go home with their own terrarium ecosystem. Only 12 seats are available, so make sure to purchase your spot ASAP. Tickets can be purchased online for $95 per person. Attendees are welcome to BYOB or order from Easton Wine Project or County Seat Spirits to be delivered to the studio space.
Easton Star Party
Join fellow astronomy lovers for a star viewing party at Easton’s Scott Park on Saturday, April 12 from 7:30–10:00 p.m. hosted by the Nurture Nature Center. The center’s staff will be on site offering telescopes and to help guide you in viewing the stars, moon, planets (Jupiter!) and more. This event is dependent on favorable weather conditions, so stay up to date on their website and Facebook page.
Community in Bloom: Pop-up Market and Family Event
Experience a taste of what the future Bethlehem Co-op Market will have to offer at their Community in Bloom Pop-up Market on Sunday, April 13 from 1–4 p.m. at the Bethlehem Ice House. This free-to-attend, family-friendly event will feature future vendors and community partners of the Co-op and samples of their bites and goods to sip, sample and purchase as well as various craft activities and opportunities to meet future market members.
Bethlehem Vintage Market at The Rose Garden
Shop all things vintage at the Bethlehem Rose Garden Vintage market on Sunday, April 13 running from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. You’ll find vintage clothing, collectibles, jewelry and so much more. Admission is free with live music and food and drink will be available for purchase.
