Opening Day at Bath Farmers' Market
Celebrate the kick-off of Bath Farmers' Market's fourteenth season with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. on Friday. Shop seasonal produce, handmade crafts, international foods, spirits, pastured meats, sweet treats and more from 3–6 p.m. The market will run every Friday through September 24 and also promises a playground, demos, dining and yoga.
1K9 Dog Walk
Participate in a community dog walk at the Lehigh Valley Zoo this Saturday! Enjoy a family-friendly day of exercise that includes a .75-mile walk on a paved trail neighboring the Jordan Creek. Before the walk, check out pup-related vendors and local shelters on site. Guests may arrive at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin promptly at 9 a.m.
Paint and Sip at Weyerbacher
Head to Weyerbacher Brewery on Sunday to paint an 8 x 10 beer-themed canvas. Tickets are $32, with the fun running from noon to 2 p.m. Each participant will receive supplies and step-by-step instruction as well as one complimentary beer to enjoy!
Paws at the Park Mini-Festival
Western Lehigh Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first annual Paws at the Park Mini-Festival this Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. Taking place at Upper Macungie Grange Park, the event promises animal-related vendors, pet photos, food and drink options and a DJ. Proceeds will benefit The Sanctuary at Haafsville. Admission is free.
Painted Flower Pots Workshop at the ArtsWalk
Part of the DAM (Downtown Allentown Market) That's the Baum Workshop Series, this event allows participants to enjoy the outdoors while creating their own painted terra cotta flower pots. The workshop will take place at the Allentown ArtsWalk Pocket Park (or inside the market if it's raining). Tickets are $15 and come with a $5 voucher to use at the Market the day of the workshop. The fun runs from 6–7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
