Scotty McCreery at Univest Performance Center
The Univest Performance Center in Quakertown will be welcoming multi-platinum country star Scotty McCreery on Friday, July 8! Hear his hit singles including “Five More Minutes,” and “This Is It.” Grab your cowboy hats and your families for a night of country, starting at 5:30 p.m. with the concert being at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $5.
Outdoor Tabata in Saucon Valley
Get moving in the great outdoors! On Friday, July 8, from 9:30–10:15 a.m., work out with this fun and high-energy class hosted by Capital Blue Cross Connect Saucon Valley. Get ready to decrease fat and increase muscle with this Tabata circuit training exercise. Don't forget to bring your own mat and a water bottle.
Bike Ride & Ice Cream Adventure
Afros in Nature is hosting a collective ride for all BIPOC biking enthusiasts on the Saucon Rail Trail this Saturday, July 9. There will be two groups based on skill—those looking to take on an endurance ride will meet at 11 a.m. at Water Street Park to embark on a 15-mile ride. At 12:15 p.m., there will be a group of 5-mile riders at the Southern Lehigh Public Library. Afterwards, the group will reward themselves at the Inside Scoop Creamery in Coopersburg for refreshments. The suggested donation is $5 to collect funds to organize more events.
American Whiskey Tasting in Emmaus
Head out to the House and Barn in Emmaus to taste some fantastic American whiskey. Tickets are limited to 22 people, so get yours now for $30. The tasting will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 4 p.m.
Reggae Jazz Soca Family Fun Day
Head over to the South Mountain Grove in Allentown for Family Fun Day with music, food and games. This event for all ages will take place on Saturday, July 9 from noon to 9 p.m. Enjoy the food vendors and Reggae Jazz Soca live music featuring Denise Belfon and Mega Banton. Tickets start at $5.
Whiskeypedia Workshop with Boardroom Spirits
On Saturday, July 9, head to the Tasting Room at Boardroom Spirits Distillery from 7–9 p.m. for a fun cocktail experience! This interactive workshop teaches you how to make three whiskey cocktails that you can enjoy this season (and beyond!). The ticket price includes a hands-on mixology session where you'll craft and enjoy three signature cocktails. Tickets are available for $49 and include a complimentary four-pack of any canned cocktails.
Expressionistic Painting Workshop in Emmaus
Local artist Nancy Bossert will be directing a painting workshop in the expressionistic style on Saturday, July 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Emmaus Public Library. The workshop is aimed toward artists and aspiring artists with beginning and intermediate skills. The class is free and open to the public and will be held outdoors. Register to save your spot.

Movies on the Quad at Lafayette College
Lafayette College kicks off its Movies on the Quad series on Tuesday, July 12 with a free showing of Spider-Man: No Way Home at 8 p.m. Open to the community, all are invited to bring a blanket, a chair and some movie-friendly snacks to Lafayette's beautiful quad.
