PROUD in SILK
Enjoy an evening of drag, DJs and dance at this bi-weekly celebration taking place this Thursday, August 26 at Fegley's Allentown Brew Works' SILK Lounge. The fun kicks off with karaoke from 6–9:30 p.m. and continues with a dance party until 2 a.m. SILK bar service will continue all night, with late night fare served until midnight, and the full food menu available until 10 p.m. There is an $8 cover after 9 p.m., or a $10 cover that includes four raffle tickets.
Outdoor Comedy Night
With hosts Kris Fried and Tyler Rothrock, this event promises great food and even better laughs on Friday at Allentown's ArtsWalk Pocket Park. While free to attend, there is limited seating available, so please bring your own chair. The fun runs from 6–8 p.m.
Your First Mud Run at SteelStacks
Parents and kids are invited to run together in this 1.5- to 2-mile course that features 10–16 family-friendly obstacles. This Saturday's event is perfect for first-timers, as anyone 5 years or older is invited to participate. A portion of the proceeds will benefit ArtsQuest. Easton VegFest
Celebrate Easton's 3rd Annual VegFest this Saturday at Riverside Park! The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and promises food trucks, prizes, animals, music, crafts and more.
Paddle CORE at Blue Mountain Resort
This Saturday, head to Blue Mountain Resort for a stand-up paddleboarding session that combines the relaxing nature of paddling with a core workout. The class will take place at Blue Mountain's Valley Ponds from 3–4:30 p.m. Tickets are $13 and can be purchased here.
Zoocoustic Night at the Zoo
The Lehigh Valley Zoo will host its third annual Zoocoustic Night fundraising event this Saturday from 5–9 p.m. Hang out with family and friends while listening to acoustic music by a variety of local artists, including Stacy Gabel, Erin Kelly, Seth Witcher, Jeni Hackett, Frank Porter and Glenwood. Grab some food and drinks, and be sure to check out the animals after hours. Tickets are available here and range from $10–$35.
Yoga & Booch in Emmaus
Blue Hawk Yoga will be in the field at Pheasant Hill Farm this Sunday. The one-hour, all-level Vinyasa Flow practice will be followed by a morning cocktail or a cup of delicious craft-brewed Portch Tea kombucha. The fun runs from 10–11 a.m. and is $20 to attend. Afterwards, feel free to roam the 20-acre farm while enjoying a beverage!
