Easter at the Zoo
Enjoy Easter activities all weekend long at the Lehigh Valley Zoo from Friday, April 18 running through Easter Sunday. Guests will be able to create cardboard Easter egg enrichment for the animals on Friday and Saturday and Sunday enjoy an Easter egg hunt and photos with the turtle mascot in your Easter best. Additional fun Easter activities will be available throughout the weekend. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $13 for children and those under 2 are free.
Blue Zones Project Community Kick Off
Learn more about the Valley’s newest community wellness initiative at this free to the public event on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the PPL Center in Downtown Allentown. There will be free activities for all ages including fitness demonstrations, healthy food tasting stations, local wellness resources, photo booths, performances and so much more. Attendees will learn all about the Blue Zones Project mission and how it hopes to better the wellness of the local community.
Spring Salsa Social
Join Delta Latin Dance for the Spring Salsa Social at Delta by Marriott in Allentown on Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m. Attendees will learn salsa, bachata and merengue with salsa lessons beginning at 8 p.m. and dancing continuing until 2 a.m. There will be drink and food specials, music by DJ Domo Flow and a flower wall photo op. Cover is $10 per person.
Immersive Sound Bath Journey
Take a drive and check out Harmony Mountain House, a retreat center of New Jersey for this special sound bath immersion on Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m. The class will begin with a grounding drop in, journey through sound bath and close with a circle of connection. $33 payment can be made through Venmo or Cash—make sure to DM them to RSVP.
Walk with Girls That Walk
Get some exercise and make friendships at the Lehigh Valley Girls That Walk walking event on Tuesday, April 22 at Lehigh Parkway. The walk begins at 6 p.m. at Bogert’s Covered Bridge and will last as long as those are willing to walk. The walk is free and women of all ages are invited to make new friends and get some exercise.
