It was so perfectly written in their stars ✨ As Leena + Sai exchanged their rings during the most beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family both there and virtually in India. It was important that these two exchanged their rings and signed their marriage certificate at exactly 12:30pm yesterday, when their astrological signs perfectly aligned together 💫 which @alisatongg orchestrated such a beautiful ceremony for them. Before hand they soaked up every moment with their guests with the sweetest chai tea party (shout out to Cardamom & Curry, they don’t have an IG but need to be acknowledged for their amazing tea and finger-food set up!) Yesterday marked ONE YEAR since my girl Emily (@jonesthugsandharmony) and her man, Frankie, got married. (Happy anniversary, lovebirds)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Emily and Frankie were DREAM clients. Once we figure out cloning, I'm starting with them. They were excited to get married, respectful of their vendor team, wanted to focus on creating a great experience for their guests, and they TRUSTED my process. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When their day came, it was a PERFECT Fall day. Mother Nature was showing off her best colors. Everyone was excited, anxious, and looking perfect.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But during their ceremony, one small snag was brought to my attention. While I was off-site at the church, watching the couple say their I Do's, one of my assistants texted saying we had a problem with their chairs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The catering company was handling all of the rental items. And by no fault of their own, we were short FIVE chairs. The company they were using sent over five completely DIFFERENT chairs when no one was around to see the problem (ugh) and then did not answer the catering company's many calls to try and fix it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Within a few minutes of me finding out, I reached out to another company that I had a good relationship with and who I knew would be nearby to help in the pinch. The chairs arrived just a few minutes before the guests did and they were in place with no one ever knowing there was even a problem. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ THIS is why you hire a coordinator. Because my couple never had to worry about this. And neither did their family.
