Lily and Matt had such a beautiful and intimate wedding this past Saturday. ✨ It truly couldn’t have been more magical! This day was something they’d been planning for a while and they changed their date three times, but they finally made it! They were surrounded by just the closest friends and family and it was perfect. Not to mention the love they share for each other was just beaming! They couldn’t hide it! So photographing them was easy. This couple was just so happy to finally become husband and wife. This bouquet was extra special. The bride’s mother gave us lace from their grandmother’s wedding dress to incorporate into the bouquet. Instead of just wrapping it around the handle, we created small lace “flowers” and added them throughout the bouquet! Such a special touch on our bride’s wedding day 🥰

How do you transform “Candids” into cherished memories? I’ve asked myself this question so many times. “How can I make my couples’ experiences so genuine that even during moments when a camera is only inches away, I can fade into the background and close the shutter on a real, authentic and romantic moment.” . Too many times we as photographers get caught up in thinking our cameras are the focus (pun intended) of the day when our job is to focus IN on the moments happening right in front of us. . Life doesn’t stop, it’s my passion to stop it with each click of the shutter; a memory of what’s really happening. Not what I’m “telling you to do”. . Live beautifully. Love wonderfully. We’ll make sure it’s there when you’re done. ❤️
