Alisa & Brett
12.09.2017
The Proposal
Brett’s surprise proposal brought Alisa to the very stage where the two had first met through their community theater group. Under a spotlight with yellow rose petals scattered around them, he got down on one knee and offered his ring.
The Big Day
Unpredictable weather for their December wedding was always a concern—would guests and vendors be able to make it? This worry was answered with the breathtaking beauty of snow falling throughout their winter wonderland wedding day—and every guest in attendance! Glasbern Inn provided a balance of rustic elegance and the perfect setting for both splurged-on splendor and treasured DIY touches like their photo booth, escort cards and signage. The favorite feature: an arch handcrafted by Alisa’s father, under which the couple was married.

Jennifer & Saleem
9.15.2018
The Proposal
Saleem met Jennifer at his sister-in-law’s 40th birthday party, and just one year later he planned an amazing Paris getaway for his proposal. On a private cruise down the Seine, their riverboat stopped under the lights of the Eiffel Tower and Saleem asked Jennifer to be his wife.
The Big Day
Following their wedding at St. Thomas More Church, the party moved to The Lavender Farmette in keeping with their French theme for a sumptuous cocktail hour. The reception was held on the bank of the Little Lehigh Creek on the site of the couple’s future home, with hundreds of lights twinkling along the water’s edge, in the trees and on the rippling water. Guests passed under an arche de fleurs made up of hundreds of cut flowers, and made their way down a catwalk to the riverside tent where dancing and celebration lasted late into the night.

Jen & Matt
11.10.2018
The Proposal
Matt had long admired Jen at Bloomsburg University when they finally met at a friend’s birthday party. He went on to propose amid the wildflowers and waterfall of Colorado’s Denver Botanic Gardens. Playing the long game, Matt then surprised Jen with secretly captured footage of the proposal just hours before their vows.
The Big Day
Snow flurries brought in the brisk morning of their bright November wedding day, but guests were game to bundle up in the cold for the couple’s dream ceremony outside in the sunshine. Tears appeared in Matt’s eyes as the bride came down the aisle, and her sister Kristen read e.e. cummings’s “I carry your heart with me.” Simple candles and greenery in the reception space let the wall-to-wall windows shine, and after the couple closed the night of dancing with a last dance surrounded by friends and family, they departed to their honeymoon cabin with a sparkler send-off.

Rachel & Steven
10.07.2018
The Proposal
Good friends in high school, Rachel and Steven reconnected over Facebook years later. During a winter trip to Peru, Rachel thought her altitude sickness would throw off Steven’s proposal plans, but when she got distracted by a cute alpaca he surprised her with the ring.
The Big Day
They tied the knot at the lovely Lake House Inn on Lake Nockamixon on a summer-warm fall day, walking down the aisle together with the last minute and indispensable addition of a string trio. Guests from as far away as Australia and Hong Kong were wowed by the reception’s wine tasting and fresh guacamole bar, floored when the couple showed off their covertly choreographed first dance. Hilarious games like Guess the Groom by His Butt kept the party roaring until the sparkler send-off. Close friends and family stayed to wind down by the firepit with s’mores, basking in a beautiful day.
