Peter Sokolski and Lauren Sandt met working at Allentown's Cedar Crest College. On a final walk-through of their under-construction home, Peter popped the question, surprising Lauren with a candlelit "Will you marry me?" sign, and her favorite: a sunflower and two boxes of Pop-Tarts to accommodate split preferences on their favorite snack (Lauren is #teamnoicing).
The beautiful Muhlenberg campus, decked out in lights and greenery for the holiday season, was a magical venue for both their wedding at Egner Chapel and the cocktail-style reception just a firelit brick path away. As a chef with Sodexo, Peter had special plans for scrumptious food stations around high-top tables. Guests partied nonstop and, rather than a guestbook, signed Christmas balls and hung them on a tree, mementos that will shine with love in the couple's home every holiday. The romantic, timeless event was exactly how they'd imagined it.
