On April 24, 2024, join our Curator of Exhibitions, Tim Betz, as we celebrate his newly-published book, Making History: Makerspaces for Museums and Historic Sites. His work presents a roadmap to building, planning, researching, and using a makerspace alongside more traditional museum programming. Highlights include:
- Creating a makerspace and culture of making that is inclusive and for the entirety of the community
- Creating meaningful makerspace-centered programming
- Why museums and makerspaces are a natural fit
