In the heart of the vibrant Lehigh Valley, a groundbreaking application has emerged, poised to revolutionize the way residents explore and experience their local culinary scene. With a tap of their fingers, Lehigh Valley locals can now unlock a treasure trove of delights, as this innovative app unveils a virtual map of diverse restaurants and eateries tucked away in every corner of the region. This rising application is called Social Guides, created by Qaza Nazeer.
Nazeer is the CEO of Adfuel, an agency based in Emmaus. Yet, Social Guides is its own entity and soon the dream is “Social Guides, Inc.” “We have a connection in my Rolodex,” says Nazeer. “I had multiple video calls and there was a potential investor that wanted to invest after we incorporated Social Guides. I was very grateful that I built a beta and in the first 90 days we had interest in our start app company.”
Now, the platform has raised $500K and is shooting for $1M. They are on the lookout for an opportunist and smart investor to grant them further opportunity. The application is free on the App Store and available in other states.
From quaint cafes serving artisanal delights to hidden gems dishing out authentic flavors, the app promises to be an indispensable companion, guiding residents on a delectable journey of discovery and delight. As this digital guide ushers in a new era of exploration, the residents of Lehigh Valley are finding their culinary horizons expanded like never before.
Nazeer is a resident of the Lehigh Valley whose mission was to make finding somewhere to dine out much easier. His favorite local spot to grab a bite is Back Home Bagels. “I remember when Josh first launched his business,” says Nazeer, “and it was inspiring to see a true top chef live out his dreams in the Lehigh Valley!”Now, Nazeer is living out his dream through his own start-up application.
Social Guides began as an app that allowed people to recommend their favorite food and drinks in their neighborhood or other destination cities, and then share their “Guides” with others. The development team quickly realized the power of this for industries other than food and beverage, and thus created the current iteration of Social Guides.
The platform features liking, recommending and curating products, places, events and experiences across multiple categories in any city. They currently have a beta app where users can organize their recommendations into guides. After the team receives investments to recreate the new vision, there will be many new features.
“To have our first million users in a year and have our content creators learn how to profit from our platform,” Nazeer describes as the goal. “We understand that content creators are the future, and we are looking to build one of the best search engines like Google and TikTok that the users will love.”
