Owner of Steel City Plant Co., Angie DelGrosso Stein says that the birth of her baby boy, Shea, in November 2023 inspired her to launch Steel City Kid Co. “As a new mom, I found myself spending too much time sifting through multiple online boutiques to create an awesome (and healthy) closet for our little one,” she shares, “so I really wanted to pull the styles I was searching together to offer them to the Lehigh Valley in one spot in person.” After all the success that her plant shop has experienced at the Belleville Market, DelGrosso Stein knew it was the perfect place for Steel City Kid Co. Locals can shop their fun onesies; convenient double-zip, hand- and foot-covered PJs; hats; sunglasses and other accessories in the new Belleville Baby section of the market, which launched in April and is located in the upstairs loft area. “Our 100-percent cotton muslin swaddle blankets make the perfect gift and I love the sweet designs,” she shares. “As a new mom, I know how much I use our muslin blankets since they are good for so many things!” Belleville Baby is the ultimate destination for baby apparel and gifts, featuring additional vendors like Kjo Baby & Co., Pineapple On Main, Seven Little Birds, Tenth & Pine and Thistlebird Threads.
