Founded in 2001, the Movie Tavern is revolutionizing the way people experience cinema with in-theater dining, drinks and luxurious seating. Since the original opening in Texas and Georgia, Movie Tavern has expanded to 23 theaters, including the recent Trexlertown location! Christy Razo, director of sales, says, “What drives us is our fans, and we strive to make the movie-going experience unique and special for everyone.”
When attending a Movie Tavern screening, guests are encouraged to reserve their seats ahead of time via the app or website. Once seated, a push of the seat’s red button will summon a server for menus and ordering. All are welcome to check out the Tavern Bar, which doesn’t require a ticket purchase and is the perfect spot to watch a sporting event on-screen. What’s more, the Tavern Bar crafts specialty cocktails and dishes, and tailors trivia themes based on major film releases, so there’s always something new to check out.
