Up and Down Hills
As far as your wallet is concerned, there’s no better way to enjoy the snow with your family than sledding. It’s a timeless winter activity that will leave all members of your family happy and inevitably exhausted. The locations below are home to our favorite hills to sled on, but remember: sledding can be dangerous! Don’t be afraid to exhibit a little caution where necessary.

Underwater
You haven’t heard of the Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge? Listen up! This frigid event takes place along the river in Easton at Scott Park and aims to raise money for athletes of Special Olympics Pennsylvania. This year’s plunge will take place on February 20, and it provides you with the opportunity to purchase a Plunge themed swag bag. If you’re “Too Chicken” to dive into the freezing Delaware for a good cause, you can still register alone or with a team and raise funds. If this all sounds too easy to you, then check out the details on the Third Annual Super Plunge.

On Ice
You don’t need to be good at ice-skating to do it. In fact, we believe falling while ice skating is a prerequisite for having a good time. Slip into some skates and glide with the greatest of (or a severe lack thereof) ease at these Valley ice rinks.
