Böser Geist owners, Erik Thomasik and Michael Platt
Böser Geist is proud to call itself the 15th exclusive craft beer joint in the Lehigh Valley. Owned and operated by Erik Thomasik and Michael Platt, Böser Geist opened in December 2017, and sells new and unique beers in a warm and inviting atmosphere. “Böser Geist Brewing Co. boasts the Lehigh Valley’s second-longest bar, which measures 86 feet long and is made from zinc and local reclaimed cypress barn wood,” says Platt. It is located in the heart of the Silk Mill revitalization and offers an unpretentious celebration of the historic Easton mill. At Böser Geist, they brew their own beer, which is produced on site, and also provide an extensive list of Pennsylvania wines, spirits and ciders. In addition, they also have gift cards and merchandise, such as glassware, for sale, with more products like shirts and hats coming in the near future. All products are available to the public, and tours of the brewery are available upon request, depending on the brewing schedule. “Brewing is a science, but it’s also the art of simplified complexity,” says Platt.
