As the holidays grow nearer, one of the greatest gifts to give is a helping hand. Support the local charities this season to ensure it is a happy one for all.
Itty Bitty Kitty
Itty Bitty Kitty, Inc. is a nonprofit that runs solely on volunteers and has numerous opportunities that can work around busy schedules. They are looking for volunteers to help maintain and clean their shelters at their Lower Macungie location and also at the PetSmart in Quakertown. Volunteers play with the cats and kittens, and can also foster a cat by providing them with a temporary home until a match is found. Itty Bitty Kitty pays for all the food and medical expenses during the fostering, which is especially vital during the cold winter months.
