Quality meets flavor at Hellertown’s newest family-friendly burger and chicken joint. “Drip is brand-new, and it’s here for everyone,” says chef-owner Andrew Murtha. “We want to give people a great place to hang out and drop all worries at the door.” Drip boasts a delicious menu filled with favorites like My Big Fat Greek Burger and the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. Murtha founded Drip after exiting the fine dining scene. He wanted to create a casual, care-free place where locals could hang out. “Being in a blue-collar steel town, and well over ‘ego’ food and pretentious behavior, I figured, give people what they want and do it to the best of my ability,” says Murtha. “Fine dining is fun, but fame is fleeting. At the end of the game, the king and the pawns end up in the same box.”
