Jackie Rueda opened Green Vida to offer the community all of the clean-eating alternatives that she provides every day to her family, using locally sourced ingredients.
Rueda realized the impact food can have on a person’s health when she saw it benefiting her son, Santi, who has autism. Two weeks into a gluten-free and casein-free diet, he spoke his first words at four years old. “He was happier, healthier and no longer in his own world and coming into ours,” says Rueda.
