HAAZ’S
A RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF FLAVOR
In August, Haaz’s officially opened its doors in Bethlehem, offering menu favorites like Nashville hot chicken, smash burgers, Halal cart-style gyros and platters, loaded fries and a beloved build-your-own dessert waffle. Founder Hasnain Ilyas (Haaz) says his journey to opening the restaurant was deeply rooted in his childhood memories and the love for the food industry that his father instilled in him. “Growing up, I spent countless hours in my father’s restaurant, a local IHOP, where I first learned the importance of hard work, dedication and community,” he shares. “After years of working in various cities, turning around struggling restaurants, I was drawn back to my roots in the Lehigh Valley. When the opportunity arose to purchase the very IHOP my father once owned, I knew it was fate calling me home.” Filled with a passion for food and a desire to create something unique, Ilyas decided to venture out and create his own brand, calling Haaz’s a tribute to his father, his hometown and the community that shaped him. “At Haaz’s, we’ve poured our hearts into crafting a menu that offers something for everyone, no matter the time of day,” he says. “We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that everything we serve is made from scratch, with the best quality ingredients we could find.” The Chicken Haazwich has quickly become a crowd favorite.
