Tatamy Takeout opened its doors in December 2021, and now serves customers daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. “The best way I can describe our menu is fast and fresh!” says Mike Lordi, director of operations. Bestsellers include their breakfast sandwiches (with a variety of bagels delivered fresh from Long Island, NY), the French dip burger, the classic cheesesteak and the chicken quesadillas. As the name suggests, Tatamy Takeout exclusively offers food on the go. “We started to put this plan together in 2020. COVID was front and center and it had an effect on the structure of our business model,” says Lordi. “By strictly offering the takeout, curbside, delivery model, we offer contactless transactions and make social distancing easy and convenient in the restaurant.”
