Top Experiences in the Lehigh Valley This Week
1. Hocaa Bubble Tea
While this may already be on your radar, Find It Friday has been on an extended summer vacation and is late to share the news of SouthSide Bethlehem’s newest spot for bubble tea. Located on Third Street, Hocaa Bubble Tea specializes in Taiwanese street food and drinks, along with everyone’s favorite egg waffles with ice cream. Their teas are entirely customizable where you can select your sugar level, ice level and choose an array of toppings ranging from aloe to herbal jelly. Don’t miss the floral photo wall to grab a photo for the ‘gram and tag #livelvstyle.
2. See The Elephant
A brand-new liquor line has popped up on the LV bar scene and we’re totally intrigued by the colorful branding and unique variety of spirit. Described as a rucola-based amaro from the Cilento Coast of Italy for the modern adventurer, it’s a class of Italian aromatic, herbal and bittersweet liqueur typically served as an after-meal digestif. You can head to their website to purchase a bottle or try it in the “Mom Needs a Manhattan” cocktail at Zest Bar & Grille.
3. Halloween Extravaganza
You may know Nazareth’s Mountain View Drive-In for their mini-golf, ice cream and adorable log cabin style restaurant, but did you know they host a Halloween Extravaganza the whole month of October? This family friendly experience allows mini golfers to enjoy a festive course complete with lights, décor and inflatable displays (with more being added each day). You can also take advantage of pumpkin pie ice cream, pumpkin sundaes, pumpkin lattes with more seasonal treats being offered throughout the month. Tip: come in costume and you get a golf discount.
4. #theShed at House & Barn
The team at House & Barn always seems to have something fun up their sleeves and #theShed is their latest in-the-works project. After a recent announcement of combining the Barn and House menus into one House menu and reserving the Barn for event space only, #theShed is something else entirely. With minimal details currently available, #theShed looks to be under construction with bars and tables furnishing the space. 5. @holly_ponic
We’ve been following @holly_ponic’s account for quite some time (hey, girl!) and she never ceases to amaze us with her dedication to outstanding seasonal home décor. Most recently, she completely decked her living room out with Halloween shelving, hanging witch hats, skeletons and spider webs as well as hosting an outdoor Halloween movie night complete with projector, DIY s’mores kit and ghost décor. If you have an affinity for seasonal décor, we suggest you give her a follow for some serious inspiration. Oh, and she also has three adorable pups and a wildly successful Etsy account where she sells hysterical pet merch—but that’s for another Find It Friday.
