Welcome to the very first post of our Find It Friday series. The Find It Friday series features our top five favorite finds of the week, ranging from dining & food news and people doing cool things to events and new businesses in and around the Lehigh Valley. Essentially, if it’s cool and we found it, we’re telling you about it. (Disclaimer: content will most likely always be food-related because, well, we love food.)

1. Tucker Silk Mill Private Dinner Parties
Everyone’s favorite Aussie restaurant at Easton’s Silk Mill has just announced that they’re opening up their restaurant for private dining experiences. In order to safely reopen for indoor dining, the team created these private dining options for groups of 10–14 to utilize the entire restaurant for your own private dinner party. Five courses will be served and you’re encouraged to BYOB. These exclusive opportunities are only available Friday–Sunday for one sitting, so we recommend getting your reservation in as spots are already filling for the rest of 2020. We know we’re already mentally planning all of the dinner parties ahead…
2. The Flour Cart @ The Farm Bakery & Events
The Farm Bakery & Events in Quakertown recently introduced this adorable little farm cart on their property offering baked goods and lunch items from their on-site culinary team. The cart is open during public hours on Saturdays from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. where you can stop by and grab their famous apple dumplings, whoopie pies, scones, quiche or one of their specialty pies if you pre-ordered. To complete this experience, have a seat by the fire pits and enjoy the calm farm atmosphere.
3. Gourmet Marshmallow Treats
These are not your off-the-shelf Rice Krispie treats (we still love you); Kahuna Treats takes your childhood favorite to a whole other level with mix-in’s like Oreos, strawberry jelly, Kit Kats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. With 15 different bar varieties, your best bet is ordering their INSPIRED Sample Pack to try seven flavors at once. Check out their pre-order launches to get your hands on their latest offerings.
4. Spooky Rooms @ The Lafayette Bar
Choose between the Slasher Den or Witch Coven for a decked-out Halloween experience at The Lafayette Bar. Each private seating area can hold up to eight guests and is adorned with spider webs, skulls, spooky lighting and offers a gory drink menu with drinks like Zombie Juice, Dracula’s Bite and what would be our drink of choice, the Blood Transfusion Bag (for the IG’able factor alone, obviously). To comply with COVID-19 restrictions, may sure you order from the hot dog menu! Shoot them a DM to check on room availability.
5. Fry Trays at Stooge’s
Hallelujah, Stooge’s is back in the game in Allentown and all we can say is thank god for fry trays. Ranging from a simple $5 pile of fries (w/ chipotle mayo for dipping) to $6 truffle fries or the ultimate $9 hangover fries (house beer cheese, bacon, gravy, scallions, topped with two fried eggs), you certainly cannot go wrong with any of these options. Welcome back Stooge’s!
