“Serving Those That Served Us” is a core value at the veteran owned and operated Red White and Que Smokehouse. This value reigns true in their “Buy a Vet a Meal” program. “Monthly, we will host a veteran give-back event at one of our locations that is completely funded by customers’ donations, where all veterans eat for free,” says Katie Misuraca, co-founder and co-owner with her husband, Dan. Meats are sold by the pound so that customers can create the perfect barbecue for their taste buds. “We smoke all of our meats with a dry rub and hand-make six different sauces that are served on the side,” Katie adds. “Our meats are all sliced to order in front of the customer, so it becomes an interactive experience.”
With numerous New Jersey locations, Red White and Que’s Easton location is the first in the state, but Dan and Katie are hopeful for more in Pennsylvania soon.
