We’re back for our second round of Find It Friday! In case you missed last week’s finds, The Find It Friday series features our top five favorite finds of the week, ranging from dining & food news and people doing cool things to events and new businesses in and around the Lehigh Valley. Essentially, if it’s cool and we found it, we’re telling you about it.

1. Thanksgiving Cake
Yup, that’s right—Thanksgiving Cake (aka, The Crowd Pleaser) from Cake & Corolla. If you know anything about Cake & Corolla, it’s that their desserts are true works of art and each new creation is more decadent and delicious than the last. While we’re partial to their absolutely ridiculously-sized cinnamon buns, this Thanksgiving Cake may top our favorites list. To put it simply, there are three cakes in one. THREE. The Crowd Pleaser features a vanilla chai tea cake as the base, topped with a pumpkin cheesecake and finally an apple pie stacked on top of that. It serves roughly 36 guests, although we wouldn’t judge you if you kept this all to yourself. Get your pre-order in now until Sunday, November 22.
2. Rent a movie theater
While many national movie chains have featured similar offerings, we’re encouraging you to support our local theaters whenever and wherever possible. The Emmaus Theatre allows you to rent their entire theater for a private screening, date night or birthday party with up to 25 guests to watch a movie of your choice. You’re also welcome to bring your own food or make arrangements for fresh popcorn from the concession stand. While you’re at it, you can even customize the outdoor marquee sign message for 24 hours for a nominal fee. Sounds like the perfect winter night escape, right?
3. The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club Easton Edition is a collaboration between five Downtown Easton breakfast spots to offer you select eats (including this cannoli pancake pictured below from Billy’s) from each of their restaurants for one price. Here’s what that means. You purchase a $35 punch card that allows you to get one select menu item from these five spots: Angelo’s, Billy’s Downtown Diner, Green Harvest Food Emporium, Quadrant Book Mart & Coffee House and The State Café and Grill. All proceeds will be split evenly between restaurants. To check out which menu items you’ll receive and to purchase the punch card, visit eastonbreakfastclub.com. We suggest you hurry, the offer ends on December 31. Truthfully, we couldn’t think of a better way to end 2020 than eating our way through it.
4. Outdoor Tent @ The Shelby
All of the recent talk has been about this gorgeous clear tent The Shelby has installed for the winter 2020 season. As dining in the “new normal” has been anything but easy for our local restaurants, The Shelby made dining outdoors not only safe but stunning. Their clear and heated tent is adorned with string lights, greenery and a central light installation to bring all of those winter wonderland vibes. Can you imagine anything better than dining in the coziness of the warm string lights and seeing the snowfall above? Swoon.
5. JustSageIt Christmas Wax Melts
We’re suckers for cute stocking stuffers and these Christmas wax melts from JustSageIt more than fit the bill. They’re handmade 100 percent soy melts in scents like Fraser Fir and Cashmere Plum. If you’re looking for more natural and organic products, they also carry soy candles poured in small batches with scents like brewed coffee, delectable fig, sea salt & orchid, black currant jasmine and so many more. We’d also recommend the spa gift sets as well as the stunning wax air fresheners with dried flowers.
